Project

BAM Infra Schiphol, The Netherlands

Schiphol Airport will be acquiring a new traffic lane for cars. The current lane, which is 20 metres wide, will be widened to 40 metres over a distance of 1 kilometre, at a height of 6 metres. The whole structure will be made of concrete, and we are supplying various concrete products for it.

Bridge of size

A large portion of the new lane will consist of precast elements, made by Holkon. Holkon has been a customer of Molenaar Betonindustrie for a long time and is considered a good partner. They made the beams for the ‘bridge’, which were completely precast products. In the factory, the beams were fitted with our spacers.

After Holkon, BAM came knocking on our door. Since they are responsible for the decks and pillars, they ordered our MoSwing spacers, among other products.

The implementation of the project is still ongoing. This road at Schiphol is expected to be completed around 2025.
